Dans les deux cas, l&rsquo;objectif est d&rsquo;amener un m\u00e9lange de combustibles \u00e0 une densit\u00e9 et une temp\u00e9rature suffisantes, et de les maintenir pendant une dur\u00e9e suffisante, afin de r\u00e9aliser la fusion nucl\u00e9aire et de produire une \u00e9nergie avec un gain net.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Strat\u00e9gies de compression et d&rsquo;allumage<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La fusion par confinement inertiel (ICF) consiste \u00e0 concentrer des faisceaux laser \u00e0 haute \u00e9nergie pendant quelques nanosecondes sur une cible sph\u00e9rique contenant du combustible afin de comprimer et de chauffer la cible de mani\u00e8re adiabatique, puis \u00e0 utiliser des faisceaux laser suppl\u00e9mentaires pour d\u00e9clencher le processus de fusion nucl\u00e9aire. L&rsquo;objectif final est de produire de l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie dans des centrales \u00e9lectriques, appel\u00e9e \u00e9nergie de fusion inertielle (IFE). Cela n\u00e9cessite de fournir des faisceaux laser avec une puissance moyenne totale et un rendement \u00e9lectrique suffisants pour produire une quantit\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie significative et rentable pour le r\u00e9seau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>M\u00eame si les strat\u00e9gies de compression et d&rsquo;allumage varient encore parmi les experts de la communaut\u00e9, il existe un besoin commun de lasers de classe kJ, fonctionnant soit \u00e0 quelques impulsions\/minute pour la phase de recherche exploratoire, soit \u00e0 un taux de r\u00e9p\u00e9tition \u00e9lev\u00e9 (typiquement 10 Hz) et un rendement \u00e9lectrique \u00e9lev\u00e9 pour la phase d&rsquo;exploitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour la compression, l&rsquo;un des aspects techniques cl\u00e9s est la capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 modeler le profil temporel des impulsions laser afin d&rsquo;optimiser le processus de compression. Cette fonctionnalit\u00e9 est assur\u00e9e gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un seeder flexible couramment utilis\u00e9 dans les lasers nanosecondes Amplitude (<a href=\"https:\/\/amplitude-laser.com\/fr\/produits\/lasers-nanosecondes\/lasers-pompes-par-lampes-flash\/intrepid\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Intrepid<\/a> &amp; <a href=\"https:\/\/amplitude-laser.com\/fr\/produits\/lasers-nanosecondes\/lasers-pompes-par-lampes-flash\/agilite\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Agilite<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour l&rsquo;allumage, l&rsquo;une des strat\u00e9gies consiste \u00e0 produire des protons qui p\u00e9n\u00e9treront la cible comprim\u00e9e et d\u00e9clencheront le processus de fusion.
