La mission est un succ\u00e8s.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Une id\u00e9e renouvelable<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>50 ans ont pass\u00e9. Un groupe de recherche de l\u2019universit\u00e9 Bilkent \u00e0 Ankara (Turquie) utilise ce syst\u00e8me de refroidissement par ablation avec pour objectif d\u2019interpr\u00e9ter un nouveau ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne d\u2019interaction entre le laser et la mati\u00e8re qu\u2019ils viennent juste d\u2019observer, et qui semble avoir une ablation bien plus efficace. Habituellement, la quantit\u00e9 de chaleur accumul\u00e9e par un laser femtoseconde est insignifiante (faible puissance moyenne et taux de r\u00e9p\u00e9tition mod\u00e9r\u00e9). Mais avec un taux de r\u00e9p\u00e9tition plus \u00e9lev\u00e9, de l\u2019ordre ici du GHz, la chaleur dans le mat\u00e9riel est bien plus accrue sans pour autant avoir besoin d\u2019utiliser un laser \u00e0 haute \u00e9nergie. D\u2019ordinaire, cette chaleur m\u00e8ne \u00e0 une d\u00e9gradation dans la qualit\u00e9 de d\u00e9coupe ou de forage. Pour autant, dans le cas du GHz, un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne nouveau se produit\u00a0: la chaleur g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9e, apr\u00e8s avoir permis d\u2019obtenir une meilleure efficacit\u00e9 d\u2019ablation, est \u00e9vacu\u00e9e via une interaction similaire \u00e0 celle qui s\u2019est produite pour la capsule Apollo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-3510 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/amplitude-laser.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/GRAPH-300x225.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/amplitude-laser.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/GRAPH-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/amplitude-laser.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/GRAPH.png 307w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Des r\u00e9sultats prometteurs pour des applications industrielles<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En partenariat avec le CELIA-Bordeaux, nous avons d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de tester cette id\u00e9e. Utilisant nos plateformes d\u2019amplificateurs (en l\u2019occurrence les lasers ultracourts Satsuma et Tangor) et en incorporant des sources GHz, nous avons ainsi obtenu des r\u00e9sultats qui d\u00e9passent nos esp\u00e9rances :<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff5100;\">&gt;<\/span> nouveau record d\u2019ablation sur du silicium (42.3 \u00b5m3\/\u00b5J or 2.5 mm3\/min\/W), un mat\u00e9riel utilis\u00e9 dans bien des applications industrielles.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff5100;\">&gt;<\/span> La quantit\u00e9 de mat\u00e9riel fondu \u00e9tait insignifiante compar\u00e9e au volume enlev\u00e9 (moins de 3% pour une \u00e9nergie de burst de plus de 10 J\/cm2)<\/p>\n<p>En fin de compte, nous avons d\u00e9montr\u00e9 dans cette exp\u00e9rience qu\u2019une ablation du silicium avec une meilleure efficacit\u00e9 et qualit\u00e9 peut \u00eatre obtenue en utilisant un burst de 200 impulsions \u00e0 un taux de r\u00e9p\u00e9tition de 0.88 GHz.<\/p>\n<p>Fig.1: <em>Illustration d\u2019un burst GHz (200 impulsions avec 10 \u00b5J d\u2019\u00e9nergie par impulsion et 2 mJ d\u2019\u00e9nergie de burst)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-3512 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/amplitude-laser.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Image-comparaison-300x93.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"92\" srcset=\"https:\/\/amplitude-laser.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Image-comparaison-300x93.png 300w, https:\/\/amplitude-laser.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Image-comparaison-768x239.png 768w, https:\/\/amplitude-laser.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Image-comparaison-1024x319.png 1024w, https:\/\/amplitude-laser.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Image-comparaison.png 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Plus efficace, plus pr\u00e9cis<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le traitement laser GHz montre que les lasers ultracourts peuvent atteindre des efficacit\u00e9s d\u2019ablation comparables \u00e0 celles des lasers nanosecondes, avec cependant des effets thermiques limit\u00e9s et contr\u00f4l\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Ceci se traduit d\u2019abord par une am\u00e9lioration de la productivit\u00e9, ce qui est fort int\u00e9ressant pour nos clients industriels, ainsi que par un contr\u00f4le am\u00e9lior\u00e9 sur les effets thermiques et de nouveaux ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes d\u2019interaction \u00e0 \u00e9tudier pour les scientifiques.
