Pour autant, ces caract\u00e9ristiques-l\u00e0 font de la c\u00e9ramique un mat\u00e9riau cl\u00e9 dans bien des applications industrielles. De plus, sa bio-comptabilit\u00e9 est un des \u00e9l\u00e9ments les plus attractifs pour la production de dispositifs m\u00e9dicaux.<\/p>\n<p>Une \u00e9quipe compos\u00e9e de chercheurs de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de California, Riverside (UCR) et de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Californie \u00e0 San Diego (UCSD) a r\u00e9cemment d\u00e9montr\u00e9 que la soudure de c\u00e9ramique \u00e9tait possible avec des lasers ultracourts, tel que le Satsuma, laser femtoseconde d\u2019Amplitude. Ces chercheurs ont effectu\u00e9 avec succ\u00e8s une soudure localis\u00e9e entre plusieurs parties de c\u00e9ramiques et un joint r\u00e9sistant au vide en employant un processus d\u2019absorption non lin\u00e9aire.
