Tunable laser for neuro-imaging installed at Oxford University

Adam Packer is a researcher in the field of neuroscience based in Oxford. With his 5 students, he tries to understand, through new innovative methods involving the use of lasers, how neurons with differing functional signatures subserve perception.

Amplitude Laser is excited to be a part of those researchs with the installation of a Satsuma and a Mango SP in Adam’s laboratory at the University of Oxford.

Our system will be used for specific tasks such as deep brain imaging using 3-photon microscopy and massive parallel 2-photon optogenetic photostimulation of neurons.

We are very excited and looking forward to seeing what Adam will bring to Science.
