Thematic School 2026

Amplitude is proud to sponsor the Workshop on Ultrafast sources of coherent light, part of the SFO Thematic School, an event we hold close to our mission of supporting the training of the next generation of scientists.

This workshop brings together leading researchers in ultrafast and nonlinear optics to provide PhD students and post-doctoral researchers with a comprehensive overview of the field. Starting from fundamental principles, the program covers recent research, emerging applications, and future directions—from pulse generation and manipulation to advanced characterization techniques, spanning the THz to XUV domains.

Participants will explore applications across time-resolved spectroscopy, secondary light and particle sources, and more, gaining a broad perspective that equips them for pioneering work in the field.
